Being on a gluten free diet can sometimes feels like you’re forced to miss out on a variety of delicious things, including alcoholic beverages. Luckily, there are a variety of gluten free alcoholic coolers available that are delicious and safe for people who are gluten free to consume.

I must admit, sipping on a refreshing cooler is one of my favourite past times, so I have done the “difficult” research for you and have made a list of the absolute BEST gluten free alcoholic coolers on the market. No matter if you prefer vodka soda’s or hard ice teas there is an option here that I’m sure will delight your taste buds!

What is a Gluten Free Cooler?

Gluten-free coolers are canned or bottled alcoholic beverages that are made with absolutely NO gluten-containing ingredients such as malt, barley or wheat, making them safe for people with Celiacs Disease, a gluten allergy, or a gluten intolerance. Typically, they are made with natural ingredients such as purified water, natural fruit flavours, and gluten free spirits such as vodka, gin, tequila or rum.

Many gluten-free coolers are also low in calories and contain no added sugars, making them a healthier alternative to traditional coolers (although there are still many sugary options available for those with a sweet tooth!).

Gluten-free coolers come in a variety of flavours for all taste buds with options such as lime, grapefruit, raspberry, and peach (just to name a very select few). They are often carbonated to give them a refreshing, fizzy taste. But if that’s not your preference, there are some non-carbonated options on this list as well!

You can enjoy gluten free coolers out of the can or over ice, making them a convenient and easy-to-drink option. They are the perfect alternative to other alcoholic beverages that aren’t gluten free such as beer (and taste much better in my opinion!).
